As a writer with contributions to radio, theatre, magazines and performance, I also started to make quilts. It was a brilliant experience and I soon discovered the connection between textiles and texts.
Educational Resources offers group quilting projects as well as lively plays to watch or perform. There's something for everyone to get excited about and quilts can enhance learning in surprising ways.
Tactile and interactive resources can be used creatively in Primary and Secondary schools, Art Galleries, Museums and Community settings to aid research and teamwork. Carmen Walton
