On My Left Shoulder

This package consists of a quilt made for use as a theatrical prop/story prompt by all the members of a group. It is supplied with a diverse pack of scenario suggestions that will enable the creation of an improvised performance with acting roles for all members. Creating a devised, ensemble play reinforces teamwork and research skills. Storytelling gives experience of the oral tradition.

The study of aspects of the holocaust relates to Key Stage 3 / year 9 / 13-14 year old pupils. Performances can also be presented as a series of stories on a theme.

The Horse's Quilt.

A colourful quilt enables a large cast to visit the Vicorian Era with dozens of characters, some real, some imaginary, There's plenty of scope to make up new ones too.  More than twenty scenarios provide insight into events that shaped the era and provide the basis for further research
